Las Vegas Contemporary Dance Theater has developed an engaging, comprehensive and accessible outreach program in which we introduce dance in both an artistic and scientific form. The art will come alive as we help the children explore all types of dance styles; the science will shape young bodies and help them understand the value of exercise and movement in maintaining physical health. Our goal in this program is to bring our expertise and experience to schools and communities around the world.
In addition to dance classes, the artists of LVCDT, in conjunction with highly qualified teachers, will present a variety of other activities ranging from pre- or post-performance talks, mini-performances, residencies, lecture-demonstrations, master classes and professional development workshops. Our programs are tailored to fit the needs of each group.
